My husband and I are returning to a full work schedule and our health insurance (Tricare) does not cover a nurse for him, or special daycare because his only special need is the feeding tube and the medication he receives through it. My friend is already in the hospital. He was in a car accident. He does not have insurance, but I am trying to provide some kind of coverage for him. Most health insurance companies will not cover someone who is already in the hospital. And he does not qualify for Medi-Cal. So are there any other options available out there, so that he can get the surgery he needs?
